Professor of Administrative Law, Universitat Rovira i Virgili
Josep Ramon Fuentes Gasó Bachelor of Laws (1991) and PhD in Law from the Autonomous University of Barcelona-UAB (1999). Member of the Research Group on Territory, Citizenship, and Sustainability at the University of Rovira i Virgili, in the Center for Environmental Law Studies of Tarragona (CEDAT). Participant in various national and regional research projects in the fields of local and environmental law.
He has conducted research stays at several institutions, including: the Scuola per il perfezionamento del Diritto Amministrativo at the University of Bologna, Italy (1991-1993); the Forchungsinstitut für Öffentliche Verwaltung in Speyer, Germany (1995, 2008); the Università degli Studi di Lecce, Italy (2001, 2002, 2005, and 2006); and Université de Paris II, Panthéon-Assas, Paris, France (2004).
Among his most recent publications, those focused on local and urban law are particularly noteworthy.
