Prof. Dr. Irene González Pulido
Postdoctoral Researcher, University of Salamanca
She is currently a Researcher in Training with the Ministry’s University Teaching Staff Training Program (FPU), a PhD candidate in the doctoral program Administration, Taxation, and Justice in the Social State, and a professor in the Procedural Law area at the University of Salamanca. She has taught in the undergraduate programs in Law, Criminology, and Global Studies, as well as in the Master’s program in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies.
She holds a degree in Criminology and a Master's in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies from the University of Salamanca, where she received the Extraordinary Award for both her degree and Master's.
Her research lines include: international judicial and police cooperation, cybercrime, gender-based cybercrime, gender-based violence, investigative procedures, technological investigative measures, and international security. She has published nationally and internationally on these subjects.
Among her achievements is a three-month research stay at the Faculty of Law and Criminology at the University of Ghent (Belgium) with the law and technology research group of that university.
She has given lectures and conferences both nationally and internationally (Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí in Mexico, Santo Tomás University in Colombia, University of Messina in Italy, University of Coimbra in Portugal, etc.).
She has organized and collaborated in organizing and scientific committees for conferences both nationally and internationally, highlighting her role as Academic Secretary in the Forum of Experts and Young Researchers in Law and New Technologies (FODERTICS), held annually at the University of Salamanca.
