Former Rector of the University of Salamanca, David Díez Martín has held several leadership roles at the University of Salamanca. He was Director of the Department of Organic Chemistry (2004-2006), Deputy Director of the Instrumental Techniques area in the Núcleus platform (2014-2016), and Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry (2016-2023). He is currently the Vice-Rector for Academic Organization and Faculty at the University. He has also evaluated national and international research projects and led various educational innovation initiatives.
