Prof. Dr. Arturo Álvarez Alarcón
Professor of Procedural Law, University of Cádiz
Professor of Procedural Law at the University of Cádiz, after having been an Associate Professor of Procedural Law at the Universities of Salamanca and Cádiz.
He is currently the Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Law at the University of Cádiz (UCA) and is responsible for the Ibero-American Network of Researchers "100 Rules of Brasilia" on Access to Justice for Vulnerable People, established at UCA under the auspices of the Ibero-American Association of Universities of Postgraduate Studies (AUIP).
He coordinates the Jean Monnet Module on Vulnerable Persons and Access to Justice in the EU, with a special focus on ADRs (Alternative Dispute Resolutions). This program brings together the efforts of the University of Cádiz and the Universidad Católica de Oriente (Colombia) in training, dissemination, and research on European Union Law to facilitate access to justice for vulnerable individuals.
He is also responsible for the Iurisdictio Research Group SEJ-287, supported by the Andalusian Regional Government, based at the University of Cádiz.
