Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to oversee underground utility scopes for commercial sitework projects in the Dallas area. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of utility construction, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with field teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage underground utility construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, including water, sewer, storm drainage, and duct bank installations.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Review and interpret civil plans, specifications, and permits.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address issues to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and local codes.
  • Prepare and present project reports, change orders, and billing documentation.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing underground utility projects in commercial sitework.
  • Strong understanding of utility installation methods, trench safety, and local permitting processes.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
