Registered Veterinary Technician or Senior Veterinary Assistant,  Neurology – SAGE Campbell Compensation range : $30-45/hr, 5.50/hr differential for any hours worked between 6pm-6am Who we are: At SAGE Campbell , we take immense pride in our commitment to providing top-notch veterinary care that blends cutting-edge technology with genuine compassion for pets and their families. About the role: Master neurological anatomy and function Perform high-quality anesthetic induction, monitoring, and maintenance for surgeries and imaging Calculate medication and fluid doses for administration to hospitalized patients Assist in surgeries and advanced imaging procedures Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, urinary catheter placement, etc. Perform and recognize normal physical examination parameters on canine and feline patients Noticing and documenting changes in patient attitude, abnormal behavior, and changes in condition Acquire histories and assist during neurologic consultations Positively impact patient care through collaboration with the Neurologist Participate in client education Utilize practice management software to maintain client and patient records  Participate in helping paralyzed patients walk again Carrying out or setting up procedures that do not require veterinarian assistance Compensation: $30 -$45 hourly $5.50/hr differential for any hours worked between 6pm-6am Work Schedule: ~ Full-Time ~4/10 or 3/12 schedule  Basic Required Qualifications: ~ Current and valid RVT license in the state of California required ~2+ years in a specialty setting in the veterinary industry ~ Neurology experience preferred ~ Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and exhibit confidentiality and discretion where appropriate ~ Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations    Benefits: Full-time benefits i nclude health, dental, vision, disability and life insurances, flex-spending accounts, 401(k), Employee Assistance Program, vacation and sick time, and uniforms Highly competitive and comparable wages based on experience and skill set.
