**Quality Systems Specialist**
Our client is an industry/global leader in fragrances as well as taste. This company is looking for a Quality Systems Specialist to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work with one of the biggest companies in the flavor and fragrances industry!
**Location:** Florence, KY
**Schedule:** Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
**Pay:** $25 - $28/hour
**Responsibilities:**
+ Maintain and enhance local Quality and Food Safety programs to meet global policies, regulations, and customer requirements.
+ Manage customer complaints and work on improving performance and compliance.
+ Oversee local Quality and Food Safety documentation, including halal, kosher, and organic programs.
+ Lead internal audits and monthly food safety inspections.
+ Train staff on quality and food safety practices.
+ Handle food safety non-conformances, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions.
+ Support customer, regulatory, and certification audits and implement improvement plans.
+ Perform vendor audits and report findings.
+ Drive compliance with quality notifications.
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, or related field.
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Management/Control.
+ Experience with Quality and Food Safety Systems like ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, FDA requirements (PCQI).
+ Lead/internal auditor experience is a plus.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficient in SAP, databases, and Microsoft Office.
