This opportunity resides within the Construction Management Services Division of Infinite Energy Construction (Infinite Energy) at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. Infinite Energy supports the 55th Contracting Squadron in maintaining and improving base facilities that are critical to Offutt AFB’s national defense mission. About the SABER Program at Offutt AFB

Infinite Energy is a dedicated SABER (Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements) contractor, supporting Offutt AFB in executing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction projects. SABER contracts are designed for high-volume, quick-turnaround work, requiring agility, expertise, and strict compliance with government requirements.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a motivated Construction Project Manager to join our team at Offutt AFB. This role involves managing multiple multi-trade construction projects under the SABER program, ranging from $25,000 to $1,000,000 in size. The ideal candidate will be experienced in federal construction contracting, project oversight, and subcontractor management, with strong ability to coordinate between government stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager

  • Oversee and manage multiple construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with contract requirements
  • Attend site visits with Government engineers to develop site notes and scopes of work
  • Develop and refine estimates in coordination with the estimating team using RS Means & E4Clicks
  • Lead client negotiations
  • Create and maintain project budgets, ETC/EAC
  • Manage subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion of work
  • Perform project buyout and negotiate pricing with trade partners
  • Coordinate and submit project submittals while maintaining compliance with government reporting requirements
  • Utilize ProCore and other project management tools to track deliverables, costs, and timelines
  • Communicate regularly with government stakeholders, providing project updates and managing expectations
  • Ensure safety and quality control standards are met on all projects
  • Provide timely reports to senior leadership on project status, budget, and risks
