Role Profile

Neudesic is seeking a Principal Consultant to join our Data & AI team. The ideal candidate brings deep experience working with diverse data platforms and a strong foundation in Data Warehouse architecture and related concepts. This role requires hands-on involvement across the project lifecycle - including requirements gathering, solution design, data transformation, development, testing and deployment. Experience delivering data solutions in a consulting environment is highly valued as we operate in a dynamic, fast-paced setting that demands both technical expertise and client-facing professionalism.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in the traditional Microsoft BI Stack (SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) along with hands-on experience and proficiency in modern Azure data services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and Azure Analysis Services.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering Data & AI solutions in a client-facing consulting environment.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with the Microsoft BI Stack (SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) along with hands-on exposure to modern Azure data services such as Synapse, Fabric, Data Factory, and others.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team, contributing across multiple phases of solution implementation. We're seeking candidates who not only execute tasks effectively but also bring thought leadership, initiative, and insights from past experiences to help shape high-quality outcomes.
• Develop a deep understanding of the customer's business goals and proactively identify opportunities to drive additional value through the solutions we deliver.
• Foster strong, collaborative relationships with both team members and clients to promote a positive, productive, and healthy work environment.

Technology Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL / Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Analysis Services, Databricks, Azure Automation, Azure Key Vault, Azure Logic Apps, Azure AutoML, and PowerShell. Strong proficiency in Power BI is required, with a demonstrated ability to design and deliver compelling data visualizations that drive business insights.
• Azure DevOps, Continuous Integration / Development pipelines.
• On Premise Technologies: Experience with SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

Technology Plus

• Microsoft Azure Certified – Azure Data Engineer
• Experience with Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence
• Experience with front-end tool implementations (Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire, etc.)
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
