We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our data team and lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate is a data-driven professional with a deep understanding of Power BI, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset. You will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards, robust data models, and visually compelling reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
• Build and manage efficient data models and relationships using Power BI and Dataverse.
• Write advanced DAX expressions and calculated columns for in-depth data analysis.
• Implement and maintain Power Query transformations for ETL processes.
• Optimize report and query performance to ensure responsiveness and scalability.
• Enforce row-level security , manage user roles, and implement governance best practices.
• Manage and monitor Power BI Service workspaces , datasets, and refresh schedules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users to promote Power BI adoption and data literacy.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and reporting errors through effective problem-solving.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and data modeling.
• Expert-level knowledge of DAX for creating measures and calculated fields.
• Strong experience integrating data from Dataverse , SQL Server , SharePoint , and other sources.
• Proficient in using Power Query for data transformation and ETL tasks.
• Demonstrated success optimizing performance in Power BI (model design, query tuning).
• Knowledge of governance standards , including row-level security and access controls.
• Experience managing Power BI workspaces, datasets, and permissions.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with business users and translating requirements.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Background in data warehousing or enterprise-level reporting environments.
• Microsoft certifications related to Power BI or Azure Data.
