• Teach with Rigor & Joy – Create an engaging, inquiry-based math experience where scholars see themselves as mathematicians.
• Ensure High-Quality Instruction – Implement a standards-aligned curriculum with fidelity, adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of scholars.
• Foster a Growth Mindset – Empower scholars to take risks, embrace challenges, and persist through complex problems.
• Utilize Data – Track student progress, analyze assessment trends, and adjust instruction to maximize learning outcomes.
• Create a Culture of Achievement – Set clear expectations, uphold classroom structures, and maintain a relentless focus on excellence.
• Collaborate with Purpose – Work closely with colleagues, instructional coaches, and families to support scholar success.

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• SC Teacher Certification in Math (or eligibility to transfer certification from another state).
• Experience teaching middle school math (preferred).
• A belief in the limitless potential of every scholar, regardless of race, background, or socioeconomic status.
