Experience: 3-7 Years

Location: Clarksville, Tennessee

Company: Hibbeler and Associates Law Firm

Who we are:

Join the fastest-growing law firm in Clarksville, Tennessee! At Hibbeler and Associates, we are committed to providing exceptional legal services with a focus on family and criminal law. Our rapid growth and success are driven by an unwavering commitment to our core values: innovation, collaboration, ambition, accountability, authenticity, and perseverance.

We offer a collaborative and supportive work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a chance to be part of a firm that is shaping the future of law practice in Clarksville.

If you are ready to take the next step in your legal career and join a firm that values innovation, ambition, and authenticity, we encourage you to apply!

What we have to offer:

  • Salary Range of $70,000.00-$90,000.00, commensurate with experience
  • Annual Performance-Based Bonus
  • Professional Growth Opportunities
  • Generous Paid Time Off in Addition to Paid Holidays
  • Collaborative and Client-Focused Team Culture
  • Annual Raises for Cost of Living and Retention
  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Election Opportunity
  • Retirement Plan/401(k) Election Opportunity

What you’ll do:

  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel and representation in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, and domestic violence cases.
  • Provide dynamic representation for handling of felony and misdemeanor cases for clients accused of criminal conduct, including negotiating plea deals, client advocacy, and jury trials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective case management strategies and ensure timely and efficient resolution of legal matters.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, trial conferences, and trials (jury and non-jury), ensuring their best interests are protected at all times.
  • Maintain the key performance indicators assigned to your role (e.g., billable time)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and providing empathetic and professional guidance throughout their legal journey.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop strong legal strategies and arguments.
  • Draft legal documents, including petitions, motions, and briefs, for court proceedings and negotiations.
  • Stay updated on changes in family and criminal law legislation and regulations, ensuring professional growth and the provision of accurate legal advice.

Your qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J. D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Tennessee.
  • Three (3) to seven (7) years of specific legal practice experience in family and criminal law.
  • Strong knowledge of Tennessee family law statutes and regulations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain complex legal concepts to clients.
  • Excellent negotiation and mediation skills, with a strong track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a true commitment to client-focused representation.
  • Proficiency in legal research software and case management systems.

Working conditions:

The majority of your work will be performed at our office in Clarksville, Tennessee. You will also need to attend hearings, trials, etc. at local courts or legal offices, so reliable transportation is a must. Working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. In general, we observe the same holidays as the local courts, so you can expect to have most federal holidays off.

If you are a dedicated attorney with a passion for helping clients navigate through challenging family and criminal law matters, we invite you to apply!

Note: Only qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview. Confidentiality will be maintained throughout the application process.
