Job Description

Mid Level Automotive Technician – AM Shift
Looking for an auto technician to support a self-driving car initiative. This will be focused on general documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and general maintenance. The individual should have a general understanding of drivetrains in order to identify and investigate problems.

Scope:
• Solid experience tinkering with vehicles.
• Navigate databases to find repair modules and follow processes/procedures while keeping documentation on results.
• Work with OEM tooling/base car tooling, and have an understanding of how to work with it, read diagnostics, etc.

Required:
• Auto technician experience – Automotive, robotics, aerospace, etc.
• Experience working in a shop and maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory, etc.
• Comfortable working in a team environment and leading others. This is NOT a solo position.
• Solid experience with tools – Saws, screw drivers, drill, spanners, etc.
• Experience reading and following schematics, manuals, repair guides, etc.
• Strong documentation abilities - Creating repair orders stating the diagnosis, the procedures performed, the parts required, etc.

Pluses:
• Autonomous vehicle background.
• Experience with auto mechanics, repair and maintenance.
• Experience with sensors and calibration.

Estimated Min Rate : $25.00

Estimated Max Rate : $35.00
