Job Description
Join the CLIA lab of a passionate non-profit organization that makes a positive impact on the lives of countless patients. This certified Medical Technologist will perform Hematology and Flow Cytometry analysis on patient samples.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm ( no weekends or holidays)
Responsibilities
- Process, examine, and test patient samples using a flow cytometer and hematology analyzer, and document test results according to GDP and GMP.
- Perform data analysis of processed samples.
- Manage Send-out tests, testing supplies, reagents, etc.
- Check quality control and verify test method ranges for standards and references. Maintain / troubleshoot instrumentation.
- Collaborate with and assist other laboratory team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be a certified Medical Technologist with Flow Cytometry and Hematology experience
- Core lab experience, including blood bank, is Preferred
- Florida state certified Medical Technologist (Medical Laboratory Technologist certification)
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to follow written procedures and work processes
- Proficient computer skills, communication skills, and customer service skills
Important Information
- Position is Contract-to-Hire
- Weekdays-only schedule, no weekends or holidays
- CLIA Lab team size of 5-6 people
