Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in HVAC and plumbing system design to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of complex building projects, take ownership of project delivery, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design and development of HVAC and plumbing systems, applying advanced engineering principles and best practices.
• Manage and coordinate medium to large projects—or multiple smaller, complex projects—ensuring budgets, schedules, and quality standards are met.
• Define project scopes, break them into manageable tasks, and oversee execution from concept through construction.
• Review and approve submittals, including materials, equipment, manufacturer specifications, and field construction work.
• Collaborate with clients to establish requirements, provide updates on project progress, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Support project managers with scope change assessments, including potential impacts on cost and schedule.
• Stay current with professional education and licensure requirements to ensure technical expertise and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Prior experience with Revit required; proficiency in additional design software (AutoCAD, BIM tools) a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in HVAC and plumbing system design.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
