Inventory Assistant

About the Role:

The Refind is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Assistant. We are looking for someone to support our Inventory Department in preparing items for sale, assisting with item authentication, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a passion for fashion and detail. Sundays and Mondays required!

Key Responsibilities

Unbox, Steam & Prepare items for Sale

• Carefully steam and prepare incoming apparel and accessories to ensure they are camera-ready for our live shows, online listings, and retail storefront.
• Inspect items for wear, damage, or flaws, and communicate any issues to the Intake & Pricing team.
• Handle high-value pieces with care and attention to detail.
• Unbox new shipments and assist in inventory selection decision-making alongside the Intake & Pricing Team.

Submit Items for Authentication

• Help manage the authentication process by submitting items to third-party services (e.g., Entrupy, LegitGrails, etc.) for authenticity certifications.
• Track authentication statuses and follow up on pending verifications.
• Organize and file authentication documentation.

Consignment Return Prep

• Support in locating items for consignment return.
• Prepare unsold or unaccepted consignment items for return.
• Ensure items are clean, neatly packed, and labeled appropriately before being sent back to consignors.

Inventory Department Organization

• Assist with organizing inventory racks and maintaining accurate product location logs.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the Inventory Department as a whole.
• Help the team take out the trash, recycling and maintain necessary product stock to stay efficient day to day.

The Refind offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience and industry standards for the Seattle market. The pay range for this role is $25 to $28 an hour and employees are eligible for a quarterly bonus. We are committed to fostering a fun, supportive, and engaging work environment.
