Job Description

Your Role:

As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will assist with key projects and daily operations in the Material Handling team. This position focuses on optimizing logistics, enhancing material flow, and ensuring readiness for the new model production. The student will also take the lead on a continuous improvement project focused on streamlining data tracking to enhance overall shop efficiency. (This position will sit on-site in the West Point, GA area.)

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics and Packaging Engineering with a minimum institutional GPA of 3.0.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Access, and Power BI as well as AutoCAD experience is preferred .
• Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes, as well as industrial engineering principals, is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
• Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
