Job Title: HR Coordinator

Location: Aurora- Hybrid

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract

Compensation: Up to $70,000 annually

Overview:

Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to support our client’s Human Resources operations on a 6-month contract. This individual will assist with onboarding, HRIS data management, reporting, and employee engagement efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, and company policies
• Prepare offer letters and process employment changes in the HRIS
• Manage onboarding and preboarding tasks, including I-9 completion and E-Verify submissions
• Submit termination and payroll requests in a timely and accurate manner
• Collect and submit receipts and invoices for processing
• Administer the tuition reimbursement program and track associated documentation
• Facilitate new hire orientation (PowerPoint deck provided)
• Maintain the employee engagement platform (Amplify), including uploading recognition points
• Collaborate with the remote engagement committee to coordinate virtual recognition and wellness initiatives
• Generate standard and ad-hoc HR reports and support audits, surveys, and data requests
• Handle confidential information with discretion and ensure data accuracy across all tasks

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in an HR support or coordinator role
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and onboarding processes
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with virtual employee engagement tools is a plus
