Job Description

Our client, a well-funded Series A pediatric health company, is conducting a search for hands-on Head of Product.

They've raised $25M from leading VCs who invested early in category winners like One Medical, Hims, Spring Health, Cityblock, Alto Pharmacy, and Tia.

Why This Role Is Unique

  • Build from the ground up: As our product leader, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the product function as well as impact the company’s vision and culture.
  • Bring innovation and AI to an underserved yet critical category: Pediatric health is one of our nation’s most urgent challenges, yet innovation has lagged behind. With visionary founders, strong funding, and a powerful platform, you’ll have everything you need to bring bold ideas and AI-driven solutions to pediatrics — transforming patient experiences, provider workflows, and clinical outcomes.
  • Impact that lasts a lifetime: The products you create will directly improve children’s health and family well-being, with the potential to impact >25M families.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering results: You have a bias for action. You're a strong executor who gets things done.
  • Define and evolve the product vision & roadmap: Drive the future of pediatric digital health by translating the founders’ vision to an executable roadmap and product capabilities.
  • AI-Forward Leadership: Champion the integration of AI – including LLMs, copilots, predictive analytics, generative design, and intelligent automation – into our workflows. Leverage cutting-edge AI tools to accelerate product discovery, enhance team efficiency.
  • Build the product function: Establish processes and best practices, with an ability to attract top talent as the function grows.
  • Obsess over growth: Identify ways the product can unlock adoption and engagement.
  • Data-driven decision making: Define and track metrics, design experiments, and use both quantitative data and qualitative insights to prioritize effectively.
  • Drive prioritization & alignment: Navigate trade-offs and communicate clearly with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Operate with a startup mindset : Be hands-on, scrappy, and iterative in your approach. Test and learn quickly, but always design with scalability in mind.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of product leadership experience, ideally in mental health, telehealth, or clinical workflow.
  • 2+ years of managing, with a track record of recruiting and retaining top talent.
  • Adopted AI/ML tools and capabilities into core products or workflows.
  • Track record of building products that have met or exceeded business KPIs.
  • Strong UX/UI sense and the ability to translate user needs into elegant, usable solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and Clinical teams.
  • Experience in startup environments (Series A-C) and comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • Mission-driven: passion for childhood health, empathy for families and providers, and excitement to build the category-defining company.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity, considering qualifications and experience
  • Medical, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits
  • Flexible schedule, paid holidays, and unlimited PTO
  • Remote-friendly culture
