Location: On-Site (San Francisco or Seattle)

Job Type: Full-time

About Us

Cinnamon is a forward-thinking healthcare technology company focused on empowering patient advocates through secure and innovative software. Our platform automates the workflows that help patients access financial assistance for medical and pharmacy care. We are committed to expanding healthcare accessibility while upholding rigorous standards for data integrity, security, and compliance.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Front End Demo Engineer to build and maintain the demo environment used for customer showcases and concept validation. You will translate early product ideas into polished, functional UI, create quick Figma mockups, and implement front end changes that demonstrate new concepts ahead of core engineering adoption. This role requires strong React and Tailwind skills, attention to detail, and the ability to keep the demo environment aligned with our main development branches. It is a hands-on position suited for someone who enjoys rapid prototyping and bringing ideas to life in a fast-paced startup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, customize, and maintain the dedicated demo web application, ensuring it remains reliable, visually consistent, and aligned with ongoing development in main, dev, and prod branches
  • Translate early product concepts and ideas into functional UI experiences that can be demonstrated to customers
  • Work closely with product and design to convert rough ideas into quick Figma designs or visualizations prior to implementation
  • Implement responsive and accessible front end interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind
  • Layer demo-only features and visual treatments on top of the core application without disrupting the main engineering workflow
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and data needed for demo scenarios
  • Ensure demo features are performant, reliable, and visually consistent with the design system while supporting experimental variations as needed
  • Follow secure coding practices and support compliance expectations in alignment with healthcare and HIPAA guidelines
  • Participate in internal planning, design reviews, and feedback sessions to ensure alignment across product, engineering, and sales teams

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Front End or UI Engineer
  • Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Experience with Tailwind or similar component-driven design systems
  • Proven ability to deliver clean, polished, production-quality UI quickly and efficiently
  • Demonstrated experience building rapid prototypes or concept demos
  • Familiarity with RESTful API integrations and modern build tools such as Vite/Webpack
  • Experience working in cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform and deploying services on Cloud Run
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility fundamentals
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and design teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience maintaining a standalone demo or sandbox environment
  • Experience with Figma or similar design tools for quickly visualizing interface changes
  • Background in healthcare, pharmacy benefits, or HIPAA-aligned environments
  • Familiarity with backend services built on Python, Go, or FastAPI
  • Exposure to AlloyDB or PostgreSQL-backed applications

Key Skills

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on visual polish and UI quality
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities
  • Creative problem-solving with a proactive mindset
  • Comfort iterating quickly and receiving feedback from product, design, and leadership

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and stock option grants
  • PTO and a holiday schedule aligned to your region
  • Collaborative environment where your work impacts customer-facing experiences
  • Opportunities for professional growth as our product and demo needs evolve

How to Apply

Please submit your resume and a short note about your interest in the role to recruiting@cinnamon.health . We look forward to exploring how you can help us showcase the future of patient advocacy technology.
