Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Field Service Technician (for Commercial Refrigeration) to cover their Atlanta GA service area.

Candidate must have experience working on supermarket rack and heavy-duty refrigeration systems. Both Electrical and Mechanical work will be required for this role. They have a high preference for familiarity with CO2 refrigeration systems – this will give you a huge advantage over other candidates!

Travel: Up to 75% locally within the service branch area (company vehicle provided.) Includes travel from home to job sites and to/from the Service branch.

Compensation: $35.00-45.00/hr (DOE)

What You Will Do :

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on commercial refrigeration systems, preferably including CO2 refrigeration systems. Role will involve servicing refrigeration equipment in environments such as cold storage facilities, grocery stores and distribution centers.
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on commercial refrigeration systems, including parallel rack systems, split systems, chillers, and control systems.
• Support equipment installations and start-up/commissioning at client sites.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration issues specific to supermarket environments, including systems with CO2 refrigerants.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of service reports, work orders, and follow-up documentation.
• Provide recommendations for equipment replacement or upgrades to clients based on maintenance findings.
• Work closely with service coordinators and supervisors to resolve issues and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain current certifications.

Education and Work Experience:

• Must be authorized to work in U.S.
• At least 4 years U.S. Military experience
• Experience with supermarket refrigeration systems (Parallel rack systems: e.g., Walmart, Publix or similar) required
• Familiarity with CO2 refrigeration systems highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills and a desire to grow in the field.
• Valid driver’s license required; must be willing to travel locally (up to 75%)
