Executive Personal Assistant to the CEO/Founder, Venture Capital Firm, Austin, Texas, Hybrid

Our client, a highly successful venture capital firm that focuses on the tech and life sciences space is looking for an Executive Personal Assistant to provide “high touch” support for a very busy Founder and CEO. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in helping to support the Founder both personally and professionally. The Founder is also heavily involved with many outside philanthropic projects. The ideal candidate has 5+ years as an Executive Personal Assistant working for a HNW or UHNW principal in a fast-paced environment (preferably finance or tech) and is a true team player. This is a hybrid role, 3 days a week in the office with flexibility depending on what is going on with the CEO’s schedule. He travels extensively.

About the Job

• Help manage the CEO’s complex calendar, coordinate meeting schedules and logistics
• Attend key meetings and take notes; follow-up on action items
• Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics; Create detailed itineraries. Experience with private plane travel arrangements a plus
• Support internal and external stakeholders and act as a liaison to the team
• Be responsible for putting together events, dinners from start to finish; great project management skills
• Be flexible and comfortable working outside standard hours within reason
• Some personal work; run errands, ad hoc projects
• Maintain utmost discretion and handle sensitive information professionally

About You

• 5+ years supporting a HNW/UHNW principal, preferably in the finance or tech space. Experience working in the hospitality sector also a PLUS
• Proactive and anticipatory mindset – always ten steps ahead
• High emotional intelligence and strong judgment; able to act independently
• Expert time management skills; organized and detail-oriented
• Thrives in high-stakes, fast-moving environments
• Tech-savvy: Google Suite, AI tool experience a plus
• Strong communicator, diplomat, and relationship-builder
• Discreet, trustworthy, and composed under pressure
• A warm engaging personality that is a team player
