As an Electrical Engineer with Hyper Solutions you will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient and uninterrupted operation of our electrical systems. This role will support a fast-paced growing business by developing electrical designs to meet the expectations of our customers. This role will also require excellence in project coordination, including software and firmware file management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Design switchboards, modular power pods, and power distribution assemblies.
Produce single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts.
Ensure adherence to UL, NEC, IEC, and safety standards.
Develop modular, scalable, and cost-optimized designs.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
Participate in new product development initiatives.
Create and execute test protocols for electrical performance.
Drive UL/IEC certification processes.
Ensure product safety, reliability, and sustainability.
Work with Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Engineering on product launches.
Interface with suppliers, labs, and customers for technical support.
Perform root cause analysis for field/product issues.
Recommend design enhancements to increase reliability and efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred).
5+ years in electrical design of power distribution equipment (switchboards, switchgear, PDUs, etc.).
Knowledge of UL891, UL1062, UL1008, UL1558, NEC, IEC standards.
CAD proficiency (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar).
Experience with low- and medium-voltage systems (up to 38kV).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and highly organized
MS Office skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional environment as well as remote work efficiently.
Electrical Testing Knowledge / Experience.
Experience in Contract Manufacturing.
Experience in managing software and firmware
