Electrical Engineer (2–3 Years Experience)
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in electrical design to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with electrical system layouts for commercial or industrial projects and is proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD. Familiarity with SKM or ETAP software for SCCAF studies is a strong plus.
Responsibilities - Design and model electrical distribution systems in 2D and 3D using Revit and AutoCAD
- Prepare electrical layouts, schematics, and construction documents in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Assist in performing Short Circuit, Coordination, and Arc Flash (SCCAF) studies using SKM or ETAP
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to deliver high-quality design packages on schedule
- Support project documentation, reporting, and drawing set production for client submittals
- Contribute to design automation efforts (Excel macros, Dynamo, or similar) to improve efficiency
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical design (commercial or industrial preferred)
- Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Experience with SKM Power Tools or ETAP for SCCAF studies is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality deliverables
- Programming/scripting knowledge (JavaScript, VBA, Dynamo) is beneficial but not required
