Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Control Specialist to join our growing team in Fort Worth, TX. This role is responsible for managing released engineering documents, preparing document packages, and supporting our data management processes. SolidWorks and Aviation experience are a plus.
Job Responsibilities
· Manage drawing releases including review of drawings prior to release, release of drawings, and filing within the vault.
· File released documents and drawings electronically within engineering drives as well as partner locations per written and verbal instructions.
· Prepare and issue document packages via FTP site in accordance with partner and production requirements.
· Manage the data in various engineering logs.
· Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure timely updates and releases.
Job Skills
· Must be proficient in MS Office products – Outlook, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel (intermediate skill level or higher).
· Experience with SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM a plus.
· Experience with AutoCAD a plus.
· Must have electronic filing experience and understanding of data management processes.
· Familiarity with engineering workflows and drawing/document release processes.
· Maintain accuracy and attention to detail within a fast-paced environment.
