A premier luxury homebuilder based in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their accomplished team. Responsibilities:

• Analyze architectural and civil plans, along with client specifications, to produce accurate, detailed cost estimates
• Manage the complete estimating process for both new custom homes and high-end renovation projects
• Collaborate closely with sales, design, and operations teams to ensure alignment on scope, budget, and timelines
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners to clarify project requirements and expectations
• Solicit, review, and compare subcontractor and vendor bids; validate scope, quantities, and pricing
• Create comprehensive takeoffs, bid packages, closing statements, and related documentation
• Work with accounting and project management teams to code and track project invoices
• Contribute to value engineering efforts, purchasing strategies, and vendor negotiations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing, industry trends, and historical cost data

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of residential estimating experience, preferably in high-end or custom home construction
• Proficient in takeoff and estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Buildertrend, CoConstruct)
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Deep understanding of residential building systems, materials, and finishes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams and with clients
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to producing high-quality, accurate work
