Russell Tobin's client, one of the largest and most prominent global music companies, is hiring a Creative Coordinator at Santa Monica, CA 90404 (Hybrid)

Position Title: Creative Coordinator

Location: Santa Monica, CA 90404 (Hybrid) Onsite 4 days/week, remote on Fridays

Duration: 12+ Months with the Potential to extend or convert

Pay Rate: $29.90 - $31.90 per hour on W2

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Creative Coordinator to join a fast-paced, dynamic creative team. This hybrid role supports both the administrative and production aspects of creative project management, collaborating with internal teams, freelancers, and external vendors to bring high-impact brand and artist merchandise to life across tour, retail, and eCommerce channels.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Operations:

• Coordinate team schedules and freelancer onboarding, invoicing, and system access.
• Support quality control and review of creative assets, files, mockups, and presentations.
• Collaborate with Brand Managers and Production to streamline project initiation.
• Assist with sample preparation, print approvals, and team events or tradeshows.
• Maintain and update internal systems, databases, and freelancer rosters.

Creative Support:

• Prepare and review tech packs and design files for print and production.
• Assist in resizing and adjusting artwork to meet production specs.
• Support Print on Demand and pre-production workflows, including mockups and file sharing.
• Communicate briefs to graphic designers and support creative vision execution.

Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a creative or office coordination role.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office , Apple Keynote , and project management tools like Monday.com.
• Understanding of print production processes (screen printing, digital, four-color).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Strong knowledge of music, design, fashion, and pop culture trends.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment with a high attention to detail.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fashion, Communication Arts , or a related field preferred.
