Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 11 AM - 7 PM
Job Description:
Grand Villa of Deland is seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team in our Assisted Living Community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents, ensuring a high standard of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals in accordance with established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking areas.
- Assist in menu planning and food preparation for special events and resident preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for providing quality food and service to residents.
