Job Description

This is a contract position for 4-year construction project.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect work on job site ensuring safety, quality, counts, and work are performed according to the scope of work
• Communicate project progress, issues, and recommend workarounds to management
• Train installers and subcontractors
• Oversee project construction ensuring compliance with specs, codes, and installation techniques
• Share project schedule input and progress updates to Project Management team for master schedule update
• Other duties as needed (supervision, documentation, logging changes/progress, etc.)

Requirements:

• 4+ years of installation and crew leadership experience in Construction
• Solar experience required
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Able to communicate technical info to a non-technical audience
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Adobe Writer, Visio etc.)
• Construction Supervisor License for the State of California preferred
• Lighting, HVAC controls, Electrical Systems, BAS management, Fire management, and Security management systems experience
