The Recruiter will partner with the Recruiting Manager to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of B & I Contractors, Inc. and to deliver best talent to the organization. The position will nurture relationships with prospective talent and manage ongoing relationships with Hiring Managers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Recruiting Manager to develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.
- Partner with Corporate and Field Managers to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives.
- Utilize full life cycle recruiting processes to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units.
- Implement Marketing & Sourcing Strategies to attract passive candidates.
- Work with Hiring Managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate skill sets/job criteria.
- Develop strong relationships and partner with Hiring Managers and Executive Leadership as well as with local schools, universities, building/construction organizations/groups and third-party recruiting firms.
- Travel locally, and to our various regions, to participate in job fairs, school trade events as well as other recruiting related external activities.
- Work closely with hiring managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
- Provide regular follow-up with respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
- Actively participate in all staffing related activities.
- Implement search strategy that includes vendor selection process and performance metrics for all searches.
- Develop and execute a personal time management plan.
- Other duties as assigned by the Recruiting Manager for which the candidate has the qualifications to complete.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must excel in both verbal and written communication skills and have excellent organizational skills, Fully bilingual English/Spanish is required (written and verbal)
- One year of recruiting experience. Agency/Staffing firm experience is highly preferred.
- An understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization from entry level field employees to corporate staff.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and team-based project experience.
- Clear understanding of the end-to-end recruitment life cycle processes.
- Experience on mapping and sourcing resumes from all sources.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, ATS, and in-depth knowledge of data mining and internet research.
- Must be able and willing to travel (day and/or overnight travel) as needed.
