Position Overview:

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the service operations across the Nashville and Atlanta regions while also managing New Construction Production for multi-family roofing projects. This hybrid role ensures excellence in customer service, field operations, and project execution, while maintaining profitability, safety, and quality standards. This role plays a key part in growing market presence, developing internal talent, and ensuring alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

Service Operations-

• Lead and manage the regional service team, including service inspectors, coordinators, and sales staff.
• Oversee scheduling, inspections, and execution of service and repair work.
• Ensure service jobs meet quality, budget, and timeline standards.
• Manage the service operations backlog and support the sales team in identifying, quoting, and closing opportunities.
• Implement and maintain systems for customer communication, follow-up, and satisfaction tracking.
• Collaborate with dispatch/scheduling roles to optimize routes and inspector utilization.
• Monitor KPIs (e.g., response time, revenue per call, close rates) and report regularly to leadership.

Production New Construction –

• Oversee project planning, material staging, crew mobilization, and execution for assigned multi-family new construction roofing projects.
• Serve as the primary liaison between project management, superintendents, field crews, and subcontractors.
• Ensure installation meets manufacturer specs, safety protocols, and project schedules.
• Coordinate inspections, punch walks, and close-out documentation.
• Track production metrics (job cost performance) and drive accountability for results.
• Identify operational bottlenecks or risks and escalate to leadership as needed.

Strategic Involvement

• Provide mentorship and support to team members across both service and new construction divisions.
• Participate in regional strategy meetings, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, training, and customer experience.
• Support recruiting and onboarding for field and service roles.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in roofing (service and/or production).
• Prior experience in managing teams and multi-family construction projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of low-slope and steep-slope systems, codes, and safety standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across service and production workstreams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Nashville and Atlanta.
