Pay Rate:
$28-29/hour
Schedule (Rotating Schedule):
Day Shift:
- Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday-Friday
- Duration: 4 weeks
- Days Off: 5 consecutive days off (Saturday to Wednesday) at the end of the shift cycle
Swing Shift:
- Hours: 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM Thursday-Sunday
- Duration: 4 weeks
- Days Off: Monday to Wednesday off
Split Shift:
- Hours: 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM Monday-Wednesday, and 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Saturday-Sunday
- Duration: 4 weeks
- Days Off: Thursday and Friday
Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis of intermediate process samples and finished tanks of petroleum products.
- Operate technical equipment like Automated Distillation Apparatus, -Viscometers, Flash Point Analyzers, etc.
- Train in lab-specific modules, completing qualifications in various subdivisions such as Gas Streams and Jet.
- Regularly troubleshoot and ensure QA/QC compliance in accordance with industry standards.
- Participate in all safety training and attend monthly lab safety meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in Chemistry or related field.
- Must be open to working rotating shifts including day, swing, and eventually graveyard once qualified in relevant subdivisions.
- Previous experience in refinery preferred.
