Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various medical procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include performing administrative tasks, taking vital signs, assisting with patient examinations, and providing exceptional patient service. MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO SCOTTSDALE AND CHANDLER CLINIC

Duties:

• Perform basic life support techniques when necessary.
• Utilize your knowledge of physiology to accurately assess and record vital signs.
• Provide medical administrative support by maintaining patient records, and managing medical documentation.
• Deliver exceptional patient service by greeting patients, answering inquiries, and ensuring their comfort during their visit.
• Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures as needed.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic tests.
• Administer medications under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
• Assist with coding and billing processes to ensure accurate documentation and reimbursement.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a Medical Assistant program required.
• Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in basic life support techniques.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information.
• Previous experience working in a hospital or medical office setting is preferred.
