Now Hiring: Career Program Director – Brooklyn, NY (On-site)
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Thursday 9am–6pm, Friday 9am–3pm
💼 Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt
💲 Salary: $75,000–$90,000/year - depending on experience
We’re seeking a dynamic Career Program Director to lead a growing workforce development program based at a vibrant social services hub in Brooklyn. This role offers the opportunity to design and expand innovative initiatives that directly impact the local community. You'll work with stakeholders across the nonprofit, government, and employer landscapes to build partnerships, develop new programs, and support economic empowerment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic expansion of workforce development programs
- Supervise and support program staff
- Build community partnerships and engage stakeholders
- Collaborate with educational institutions and training providers
- Manage relationships with employers and funders
- Oversee data tracking, evaluation, and reporting
- Represent the program at external meetings and events
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in nonprofit or workforce development
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communication, leadership, and partnership-building skills
- Knowledge of NYC’s workforce development landscape
- Bilingual in English/Yiddish and familiarity with Boro Park a plus
