Bellman/Valet Job Description:

• Open vehicle door when a guest arrives and departs.
• Must have outgoing personality, be friendly and greet guests with a smile.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Inform the guest of parking options
• Assist incoming and outgoing guests with transporting luggage to and from guest rooms. May secure, tag, and store luggage at guests’ request.
• Must be able to Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guests.
• Perform daily inspection of vehicles; take necessary action to correct deficiencies or unsafe conditions.
• Regularly inspect and clean hotel entrances and surrounding areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned the job requires carrying, pushing, or lifting items weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Inform supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances, or dissatisfied guests.
