Job Description

Title: Athena Training Coordinator

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6-month contract

Target Start Date: May 27th

Overview:

As part of a national EMR rollout initiative, we’re seeking a highly organized Training Coordinator to support the successful delivery of clinical training programs. This individual will be responsible for managing the logistics of virtual and onsite training sessions for clinical staff, ensuring the right team members are in the right sessions at the right time, and that attendance and completion tracking is accurate and up to date. This role is critical to ensuring provider and end-user readiness across hundreds of centers, helping to maintain structure and consistency during this high-impact transformation effort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage training rosters for clinical staff across various markets
  • Monitor enrollment and attendance in training sessions to ensure coverage and compliance
  • Communicate directly with clinic managers, training teams, and learners to ensure alignment on scheduling
  • Track completion of training modules and flag potential gaps ahead of go-live
  • Maintain and update training records using internal tools and platforms (e.g., LMS)
  • Provide logistical support to instructional designers, trainers, and leadership as needed
  • Support orientation scheduling and logistics for new providers and clinical hires
  • Assist in preparing reports for training completion and engagement

Required Skills:

  • Prior experience coordinating training or logistics in a healthcare or clinical environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, calendar tools, and LMS platforms (Cornerstone experience a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving timelines
  • Self-starter who can own processes and ensure follow-through independently
  • Preferred:
  • Background supporting EMR/clinical system training rollouts
  • Familiarity with provider onboarding workflows
  • Experience working with large, geographically distributed teams
