CSC is looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our team. This entry-level position supports business growth by identifying and pursuing leads, preparing and sending project quotes, and assisting in project management. The APM will play a key role in coordinating projects, building client relationships, and learning the complete project management lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and respond to a large volume of inbound project inquiries.
• Conduct targeted sales and marketing activities to generate and develop new leads and clients.
• Assist in developing and sending project proposals, bids, and quotes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including steel fabricators, detailers, and general contractors.
• Assist in leading projects from award through completion, serving as the main point of contact for clients and internal teams.
• Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, and resources, ensuring alignment with expectations.
• Partner closely with senior leadership and senior project managers to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution.
• Monitor project performance, address challenges proactively, and communicate progress regularly.
• Contribute to the company’s sales by developing a strong pipeline of prospective projects and clients.
Qualifications
• 1–3 years of experience in construction, structural steel, or engineering industries preferred.
• Strong client relationship-building skills with the ability to identify and secure new business.
• Experience with sales outreach, targeted marketing efforts, or business development activities preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Experience preparing bids, estimates, or proposals is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of professionalism.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• PMP or CAPM certification is a plus, but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field preferred but not required.
